RTI Creative Design is the brainchild of designer, Roderick Thompson. He is a native of Memphis, TN, but he has lived in numerous cities from which his diverse design style reflects.
Rod received his Bachelor of Science degree in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design from Murray State University. He has completed numerous hours in furthering his design background by enrolling in The University of Memphis’ BFA in Graphic Design Program and 2 semesters in a MFA program at the Academy of Art University. He is also pursuing a Masters in Sports Administration and Management.
RTI Creative boasts a diverse clientele which includes: The University of Memphis, LeMoyne-Owen College, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Ray Lewis Foundation, The DeAngelo Williams Foundation, The Memphis Urban League, The Nashville Storm, Building Blocks Mentoring Program, United Athlete’s Foundation (UAF) and the HBCU Awareness Foundation. Currently he works for O’Ryan Group as a graphic designer.
When Rod is not designing or studying, he enjoys spending time with family and watching tons of college football, sometimes the NFL. As a former collegiate football player, his understanding of teamwork and the rewards of completing tasks are exceptional.
A company’s brand identity is how that business wants to be perceived. The components of the brand (name, logo, tagline, typeface) are created to reflect the value the company is trying to bring to the market and to appeal to its customers.
Sports design is a subdivision of branding which focuses both on the promotion of sports events and teams. It is a service in which the element promoted can be a physical product or a brand name.
Web design encompasses a number of important elements including color, layout, and overall graphical appearance.
